Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.84%, while the index added 0.05%, and the index fell 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:), which rose 6.89% or 2.18 points to trade at 33.84 at the close. Meanwhile, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) added 6.09% or 2.33 points to end at 40.58 and Puma SE (ETR:) was up 3.24% or 2.22 points to 70.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Muench. Rueckvers. VNA O.N. (ETR:), which fell 5.76% or 13.90 points to trade at 227.30 at the close. Vonovia SE (ETR:) declined 3.94% or 1.56 points to end at 38.00 and Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (ETR:) was down 2.88% or 1.82 points to 61.36.
The top performers on the MDAX were Aixtron SE (ETR:) which rose 7.38% to 24.75, K&S AG (ETR:) which was up 4.24% to settle at 32.19 and Varta AG (ETR:) which gained 3.05% to close at 89.78.
The worst performers were Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 6.31% to 76.28 in late trade, Wacker Chemie O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.06% to settle at 152.15 and Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO Pref (ETR:) which was down 2.53% to 30.08 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Aixtron SE (ETR:) which rose 7.38% to 24.75, Varta AG (ETR:) which was up 3.05% to settle at 89.78 and Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 3.05% to close at 20.30.
The worst performers were Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which was down 17.97% to 67.80 in late trade, Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 6.31% to settle at 76.28 and 11 AG (ETR:) which was down 4.39% to 20.02 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 420 to 264 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vonovia SE (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.94% or 1.56 to 38.00. Shares in 11 AG (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.39% or 0.92 to 20.02.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 3.15% to 29.80.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.88% or 16.61 to $1,907.91 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 1.35% or 1.42 to hit $106.78 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.59% or 1.71 to trade at $108.97 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.70% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 103.03.
