It seems the Vivo Y72 5G India model is a rebrand of the Y52 T1 model that launched in China. This means the handset will be quite different from the Vivo Y72 model that was launched in Thailand.

According to Yogesh, the Vivo Y72 sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ Halo FullView display with 2408 × 1080 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC on the original Y72 model. The chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM with an additional 4GB virtual RAM and 128GB storage that should be further expandable via a microSD card. It is likely to run Android 11 OS with Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box.
