EXCLUSIVE: Arjun Kanungo goes to Anita Dongre for wedding outfit; Carla to be Sabya bride

Singer Arjun Kanungo is all set to take his relationship with long-time girlfriend Carla Dennis to next level with an intimate traditional wedding, and they have picked simple yet elegant bridal attires.

While the wedding is a hush hush affair, our sources have confirmed that Kanungo will be wearing an outfit by designer Anita Dongre, with Dennis wearing a Sabyasachi birthday attire.

The couple will have an intimate wedding on August 10, followed by a get-together party for the film fraternity. It is expected to be held in South Mumbai. After the Hindu ceremony, the couple plan to exchange vows with a white wedding next year.

When it comes to food, it will be a lavish feast with special focus on Indian, including Jain cuisine.

Talking of his baraat, Arjun initially didn’t want a baarat, “but his mother and maasi convinced to enter with swag”. “His entry will be with boom box,” added the insider.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that the party would be a star-studded affair with inviation sent to Bollywood biggies including Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, several guests would be arriving for the same. The mehndi and sangeet are set to take place on 9th August.

Kanungo had proposed to his long-time girlfriend and model Carla Dennis in November in 2020, and spent last year figuring out a date for a grand celebration with friends and family. Now, the couple was planning to fly down to Sri Lanka for the wedding ceremony, but it has been stalled once again. Now, he is glad that it is finally happening.
