US-based gaming studio Blizzard has announced that players who are on the iOS platform can now pre-order Diablo Immortal on their devices from the App Store. Android users can also pre-register for the game through the Diablo Immortal website or Google Play Store.
The studio has not announced the official release date of the game’s final version, however, a few closed beta sessions were available for enthusiasts who wanted to experience the upcoming game. Blizzard has not only announced the pre-registration of the game but has also confirmed the perks for pre-ordering it. Diablo Immortal is expected to release later in 2022.
Blizzard shared a tweet to announce that every player who pre-registers for this game will be getting access to “exclusive cosmetics” during the launch. But there is a catch. The Horadrim cosmetic set will be given to all players only if Diablo Immortal reaches 30 million global pre-registrations. Players also need to log into the game and complete the tutorial to grab the cosmetic pack which includes some stylish gear for your character.

The game – when released – may also include a new Diablo class, the Blood Knight. Players won’t be able to pre-order Diablo Immortal on iOS from the App Store (at least until the game releases) in these countries — Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Game director Wyatt Cheng has recently discussed the upcoming game will feature multiple improvements when it finally launches. These adjustments are based on player feedback from the closed beta version. The list of changes includes several aspects like — social mechanics, in-game purchases, character progression and controller support.
Meanwhile, Diablo IV’s official release date has not been confirmed after it was delayed and is expected to arrive sometime in 2023. Apart from Diablo Immortal, a Warcraft mobile project is also slated to arrive this year. Moreover, Activision Blizzard has said its numerous franchises will also get mobile games.
