Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards to air live on ZEE5

There’s a lot of excitement amongst cine-lovers for the big announcement about this year’s Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards. Making it all the more special, veteran actor Dharmendra recently unveiled the invitation card of the prestigious award show on social media. The special invite has been designed by Ravish Kapoor. Dharmendra shared, “I’m privileged to unveil the mesmerising invitation of India’s most prestigious award ceremony, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022, in affiliation with Incredible India.” The grand award ceremony will be streamed live to ZEE5 on February 20, 2022 from 7 pm onwards.

The luxurious and elegant invitation symbolises the prosperity and growth of Indian cinema, exclusively designed and handcrafted by Ravish Kapoor. Ravish Kapoor added, “An extraordinary concept elevates this awards invitation to the next level, while paying tribute to the Father of Indian Cinema. The pure black background sets off the regal gold French Boiserie embossing and a distinctive emblem. A jaw-dropping, finely detailed, hand cast and painted, 3D sculpture of Dadasaheb Phalke graces the invitation. Traditional jali pattern rounds off this unique invitation.”

Several Bollywood stars will be gracing the event, and are also gearing up with performances to celebrate the magical night. Before the show, a curtain raiser will be held for the media on 15th January in Mumbai.
