Chunky Panday creates ‘pehla pasta’ art, sells it to daughter Ananya Panday for ₹11

Ananya Panday is not over the ‘aakhri pasta (last pasta)’ that her father, actor Chunkey Panday made immortal with the Housefull films. Ananya took to her Instagram to share a picture of her father drawing pasta on a piece of paper, and then revealed that the paper was even framed and put up on a wall. Ananya Panday, who is quite active on social media, shared an advertisement where she bought her dad’s ‘pahla pasta’ (first pasta) portrait. She shared a couple of pictures featuring Chunky drawing pasta on a piece of paper. In one picture, Chunky was seen concentrating on the bowl of pasta, placed in front of him, in order to draw an exact replica of it on paper.

Another picture gave viewers a glimpse of the drawing that was put on the wall with a frame. Chunky pointed at his creation with pride as well. Ananya shared these pictures with the caption: “Dad just tried his hand at drawing – it’s called ‘The #PehlaPasta Art’ (pasta emoticon) And of course, I am his first buyer Polymath for real! (laughing face emoticon)”

Chunky Panday had made the phrase ‘akhri pasta’ famous after his character in the Housefull films. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama in an earlier interview, Chunky had said, “The secret behind Aakhri Pasta was that in Housefull 1, Sajid Khan was to do this role himself. Everyone told him, ‘Sajid you have to do this role’, and then he met me at this party and said to me, ‘Chunky I have got this role, people want me to do it in the film, I can’t direct and act, will you do it?’ I said of course. And that is how Aakhri Pasta was born.”

Ananya made her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in Student of the Year 2. After Student of the Year 2, Ananya featured in films such as Pati Patni Aur Woh, Khaali Peeli and Gehraiyaan. She was last seen in Liger opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She will be next seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav and in a comedy film Dream Girl 2 alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
