Charles Krug Winery, Napa Valley’s oldest winery and home to California’s first tasting room, announces participation at Outside Lands – a 3-day festival celebrating music, food, wine, beer, art, cannabis, and everything we love about the Bay Area. Altogether, 96 restaurants (Outside Lands’ largest collection to date!), 35 wineries and 30 breweries gather to create an unforgettable menu with well over 600 bites and sips all located within San Francisco’s historic Golden Gate Park from August 5-7, 2022.
Charles Krug Winery is excited to be participating in two areas of Outside Lands experiences, Wine Lands and Golden Gate Club. Wine Lands is a convivial haven where 35 wineries, 10 of which are new to the festival (including Charles Krug Winery), offer festival goers the intimacy of talking directly with winemakers and tasting a variety of legendary wines, all while enjoying stellar musical performances. Charles Krug Winery will be pouring their core line-up of wines including: 2020 Chardonnay, 2021 Sauvignon Blanc, and 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Within Golden Gate Club – the premium, ultra-luxe festival experience – Riana Mondavi, fourth generation C. Mondavi family member, will be leading two innovative and exclusive wine seminars showcasing the quality, legacy and uniqueness of Charles Krug Winery. She will be pouring the flagship Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, which represents the finest expression of the Charles Krug estate vineyards, including the current release from 2017 and the library 1974 Cabernet Sauvignon.
