How To Make Bengali-Style Mutton Curry | Bengali-Style Mutton Curry Recipe

To make this mutton curry, first we need to prepare the marinade for it. For this, wash the mutton pieces nicely and then combine them with yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, and mustard oil in a bowl. Cover it and refrigerate it for around 2-3 hours. Once done, heat oil in a kadhai and add a cinnamon stick, black and green cardamoms, dry red chillies, bay leaves, cloves, and a pinch of sugar. Mix well and add chopped onions. Fry them until they turn golden brown in colour. Add the ginger-garlic paste and continue frying. Now, add the marinated mutton pieces along with the potatoes and all the masalas and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add water, cover the kadhai with a lid, and simmer it for 30-40 minutes. Top it with fresh coriander leaves, slit green chillies, and a drizzle of ghee. Serve hot and enjoy!
