Bielat Santore & Company Sells Pisces Seafood Restaurant, Toms River, NJ
TOMS RIVER, N.J. (PRWEB)
November 16, 2022
Soon after purchasing Gregory’s Seafood in Manchester in April, local business owner and entrepreneur, Chris Garbooshian, tasked Bielat Santore & Company’s sales agent Robert Gillis to approach Pisces about the possible purchase of the restaurant. The timing turned out to be perfect as the owners, Bob and John Kurzynowski were contemplating retirement after operating the iconic Route 37 seafood restaurant and market since 1976! Gillis was able to negotiate terms agreeable to all parties, and the transaction closed on November 10th.
Although the name will change to the “Ocean Fresh Seafood Restaurant and Market,” Mr. Garbooshian’s plan is to continue the high standard set by the Kurzynowski’s of offering only the highest quality fresh and cooked fish and shellfish. He even plans to retain many of the current employees. The restaurant is strategically positioned at the base of the Tunney Bridge on Route 37 West leaving Seaside. Perfect for serving Toms River proper as well as the throngs of beach goers leaving the beach areas in the summer months.
In addition to both indoor and outdoor seating, one conceptual change will be to emphasize and expand the take-out service offering “grab-n-go” fish baskets, platters and sandwiches. Perfect for those heading west after a day at the beach! Rest assured, “Ocean Fresh” will continue to offer only the best in “everything seafood;” fish; shrimp; clams; lobsters; crabs; broiled dinners; fried platters and sandwiches, delicious soups and salads to the entire Toms River area.
The restaurant will remail open during renovations which will be easily facilitated since the new owner also owns CG Landscaping & Solar and the Shore House Coastal Home Décor & Gifts. Once complete, there will be an expansion of the current limited hours of operation offered.
