Krafton India has officially announced the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), a popular mobile Battle Royale title. According to the announcement, the game will soon be available for download in India.

Krafton, Inc., as a responsible South Korean company that abides by the law, has put in place several measures to ensure compliance to all Indian laws,” wrote the company in an Instagram post, announcing the game returns. “We are excited to announce that BattleGrounds Mobile India (BGMI) will be available for download soon, and we cannot wait to welcome you back to our platform.”

Sources told News18 that the ban on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is set to be lifted for three months, with the app remaining under scrutiny.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will soon issue an order to unblock the game from app stores, but authorities will monitor it to ensure it complies with India’s rules. If any adverse activities are detected, the app may be banned again. The game is expected to return with changes such as time limits and restrictions on playing hours, as well as the removal of blood from the game.
