Bethel and Lindsey Wilson Selected in the NAIA Football Playoff Championship Series

NAIA FCS First Round Pairings | NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel (Tenn.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) both earned a spot in the NAIA Football Championship Series, the national office announced Sunday.
The full field features 12 automatic qualifiers and four at-large berths. In order to qualify for an automatic bid, teams must win their conference regular-season title. At-large berths were determined by the NAIA Football National Selection Committee. Teams earning an at-large berth must be ranked in the Top 20 of the final NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 poll, which can be accessed here.
Bethel finished the regular season ranked No. 4 after an 11-0 record and a perfect 8-0 record in the Mid-South Conference. The Wildcats earned the conference’s automatic bid and will face Keiser (Fla.) on Saturday. Keiser also earned an automatic bid after capturing The Sun Conference title.
Lindsey Wilson got the No. 8 spot in the final poll after going 9-1 and 7-1 in conference play. The Blue Raiders earned one of the four at-large births and will face Reinhardt (Ga.) in the first round. Reinhardt earned an automatic bid after capturing the Appalachian Athletic Conference title.
Georgetown earned a spot in the poll but did not qualify for the playoffs. The Tigers are slotted 21st and went 7-3 and 5-3 in the MSC.
The postseason kicks off on Saturday , Nov. 19, with the final championship game being played on December 17 in Durham, N.C
