Ashok Leyland share price up 3.49 per cent

Shares of . traded 3.49 per cent up at Rs 152.85 at around 10:05AM (IST) on Thursday. The stock had closed at Rs 147.7 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 68.26 points lower at 59639.82 around the same time.

The scrip has climbed 14.14 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 3.08 per cent during the same period.

The stock’s 52-week high price stood at Rs 169.4 and the 52-week low price at Rs 93.2.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 376,264 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 64.88, an EPS value of 2.35 and a price-to-book value of 4.71. In the Nifty50 pack, 15 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 51.53 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while FII and MF ownership stood at 15.29 per cent and 13.56 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 10430.39 crore, up 8.42 per cent from the previous quarter’s Rs 9620.28 crore and up 56.24 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 6675.83 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 319.04 crore for the latest quarter.

Technical Indicators
