Arjun Gowda to make his Telugu debut with ‘Harom Hara’
Arjun Gowda, who established himself in Kannada films with impactful performances in Rustum, Odeya, Aa Drishya, Ekalvya, and Rider, is set to make his Telugu debut with Gnanasagaar Dwaraka’s Harom Hara. Starring Sudheer Babu as the lead, the film has Arjun Gowda playing the main antagonist.
The actor, who has completed six days of shoot, shared his look from the film. “This is just my start in Telugu. There are much more to come, and in multiple languages too,” says Arjun, adding, “I am following the path once followed by Prakash Raj.”
Arjun is glad that filmmakers from other industries are exposed to the talent pool in Kannada. “Thanks to films like KGF and Kantara, actors like us have been receiving a lot of respect in other languages, and it is welcoming,” he says. According to Arjun, Harom Hara is an action drama, which is set in the 80s.
“It is the story of an ordinary man, who loses his job, finds himself in financial troubles, and gets into an illegal weapon manufacturing business. How the protagonist goes on to become a bigwig in this world is the one line of Haram Hara,” explains Arjun. The film has music by Chaitam Bharadwaj, and the cinematography is by Aravind Vishwanathan.
