Apple is said to be working on its mixed reality headset which is tipped to combine augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). The Cupertino-based tech giant is said to launch at least three mixed reality headsets. Now, a new online report suggests that the first mixed reality headset from Apple is said to be called ‘Apple Reality Pro‘.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gruman, Apple is expected to launch three mixed reality headsets. The headsets are in the developmental stage and come with code names ‘N301, N602 and N421’. Gruman believes that the company will first launch the N301 which is tipped to be called ‘Apple Reality Pro’. Apple Reality Pro is expected to compete against Meta’s upcoming Quest Pro headset.

On the other hand, the N602 headset will reportedly succeed the company’s first Apple Reality Pro headset and is expected to come with a lower price point. Gruman further added that N421 is Apple’s long-rumoured augmented reality glasses which may not launch anytime soon. Last week Gruman reported that Apple has trademarked various terms which are said to be associated with its upcoming headsets.
On the other hand, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that Apple is said to be planning to announce its first headset in January next year. The device is expected to house two 4K micro-OLED displays, 5 optical modules, two main processors, eye tracking, WiFi 6E connectivity, gesture controls and more. The report also highlights that the headset may be priced at around $3000 (Rs 23,96,175).
