Apple MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max SoCs, and Mac mini launched: India price, specifications

Apple on Tuesday announced the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by the M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets. These are the newest silicon processors from Apple that boast of incredible power efficiency, performance, and battery life, among other things. Apple claims the new MacBook Pro models with the M2 Pro and M2 Max under the hood can take on demanding tasks such as effects rendering up to 6x faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro. Additionally, Apple also launched the new Mac mini with M2 and M2 Pro. Read on to know about their India prices, availability, and specifications.

MacBook Pro M2 Pro and M2 Max, Mac mini M2 and M2 Pro price in India, availability

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro starts at Rs 1,99,900 while the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro is priced at Rs 2,49,900. The M2 Max variant of the 14-inch MacBook Pro costs Rs 3,09,900 while the M2 Max 16-inch MacBook Pro costs Rs 3,49,900. The laptop is available in Space Grey and Silver colour options. The new MacBook Pro models are available to order today, January 17th, on Apple.com/in/store. They will reach customers and will be available through Authorised Resellers from January 24th.

The Mac mini with M2 chip starts at Rs 59,900 while the variant with M2 Pro costs 1,29,900. The product is also available to order from today and will be available in stores from January 24th.

MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch with M2 Pro and M2 Max

With the help of the new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, the MacBook Pro can now offer up to 22 hours of battery life. The new MacBook Pro also features Wi-Fi 6E, which is up to twice as fast as the previous generation, and advanced HDMI that supports 8K displays. The M2 Max model delivers up to 96GB of unified memory. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch models come with a Liquid Retina XDR display, an extensive array of connectivity, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a six-speaker sound system, and studio-quality mics, the company has revealed.

The new MacBook Pro models ship with macOS Ventura which comes with features like Continuity Camera, Desk View, Center Stage, Studio Light, and more. 

Mac mini with M2 and M2 Pro

The new Mac mini comes with the M2 and M2 Pro chips, which deliver powerful performance to run high-performance workflows. The Mac mini now also gets more unified memory and advanced connectivity, including support for up to two displays on the M2 model, and up to three displays on the M2 Pro model.
