In the picture, Anil smiled while looking at Bal Thackeray. Standing in front of the actor, the Shiv Sena leader folded his hands at him. A few people were also seen around them. Anil in the photo wore a suit while Balasaheb was dressed in a white ethnic outfit. Anil also posted another picture of Balasaheb in a saffron outfit.

The actor captioned the post, “If fearlessness had a face, it certainly belonged to BalaSaheb. One of those leaders who inspired me through his sense of humour, humility and strength!”

Anil also wrote, “He will call me and say, ‘Aare Anil! Tumhari nayi film lagi hai! Abhi tak dikhai nahi (Anil, your new film has been released. You haven’t shown me it yet)?’ Miss you #BalaSaheb! (folded hands emoji).”

Born in 1926, in Pune, Maharashtra, Bal Thackeray began his career as a cartoonist but later quit his job. He then founded the political party Shiv Sena in 1966.
