Though she also succumbs to her indulgences once in a while, she follows healthy eating practices most of the time. Recently, she shared the benefits of apples through the Instagram page of the ‘SS App By Shilpa Shetty’. In the caption, Shilpa stated that apples were rich in fibre and antioxidants, and consuming the fruit could lower the risk of many chronic conditions including diabetes. She added that even those looking to lose weight can “trust apples as their nutritious companion”.

According to the post, here are the health benefits of apples:

1) Apples strengthen the bone mass. The unique properties and different contents available in apple help in increasing muscle mass.

2) This fruit is one of the best things to consume if you want to boost your immune system. This is important especially in the time wherein we are grappling with the coronavirus.

3) Apples also contribute to keeping your skin healthy. They boost skin health and make your skin look glowing, something you were always thriving for.

4) One of the most important benefits says that apples improve digestion. The fruit is loaded with fibres that contribute to preventing constipation.

In the past, Shilpa Shetty has advocated the benefits of different fruits her the Instagram page of the app. A few days ago, she had listed the health benefits of strawberries, and stated that they were low in calories, and “a source of many vitamins, minerals and plant compounds — some of which have powerful health benefits”. The caption further read, “The health benefits include reduced cholesterol, blood pressure, inflammation, and the one’s mentioned.”

Earlier, Shilpa Shetty had listed the health benefits of papaya in one of her posts on ‘simplesoulfulapp.’ In the caption, Shilpa mentioned, “Papayas contain high levels of antioxidants vitamin A, C & E.
