Smart wearable company Amazfit has announced its newest smartwatch, GTR Mini. It features a “classy” round look, packs more than 120 sports modes and a range of health apps and comes with a 14-day battery life. The smartwatch is priced at Rs 10,999 and exclusively available on Amazon.
Amazfit GTR Mini runs on Zepp OS 2.0, which is built by Amazfit-parent Zepp Health. The smartwatch also supports 5 satellite positioning systems and comes with heart rate and SPO2 sensors. It comes in three colour variants, namely Midnight Black, Misty Pink, and Ocean Blue.
Talking about Amazfit’s latest smartwatch, a company spokesperson said, “We believe that technology should seamlessly integrate into every aspect of our lives, from fitness to fashion. The Amazfit GTR Mini represents this vision perfectly – a smartwatch that blends sleek design with cutting-edge features, empowering users to track their fitness goals and stay connected on the go.”

Amazfit GTR Mini specifications
The GTR Mini sports a 1.28-inch HD AMOLED round display and a “glazed” back panel. It has a stainless-steel frame and features a “skin-friendly” silicone strap. The smartwatch weighs in at 24.6g.
Diving deeper into its display, the screen packs 326 pixels-per-inch (PPI) and can be customised with over 80 watch faces. Additionally, users can upload and assign up to three different pictures to alternate every time the user wakes the watch screen, thanks to the new Portrait mode.
Health, sports, and GPS features
Coming to health features, Zepp OS 2.0 opts for a “health-centric” approach and relies on an “advanced” BioTracker PPG optical sensor for key metrics. This sensor helps measure heart rate, stress, blood-oxygen saturation throughout the day. As per the company, users can check these metrics with a single tap in just 15 seconds. Apart from that, there are over 120 sports modes and comes with ‘ExerSense’ to enable smart recognition of seven exercise types.

Besides the Zepp app, the watch also supports pairing with other fitness apps such as Strava, Relive, adidas Running, Apple Health, and Google Fit.
Under the watch chassis, GTR Mini houses a dual-core Huangshan 2S chip that, according to Amazfit, helps the watch last for 14 days and for up to 20 days on battery saver mode. For GPS needs, the company offers its in-house “circularly-polarized GPS antenna technology.” As per the company, this technology helps the watch pick up “almost twice as many satellite signals as regular antennas.”
