AI imagines Shah Rukh Khan as Rambo, Ajay Devgn as Maximus and Anupam Kher as Yoda. See pics
An artificial design program has reimagined Bollywood top stars as Hollywood characters. The program took Shah Rakh Khan and turned him into Rambo, while Ajay Devgn became Maximus Decimus Meridius from Gladiator. Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Anupam Kher were some of the other actors who were transformed in the new pictures. Taking to Twitter, an Indian design company used an artificial design program to make stars like Shah Rukh and Akshay into Hollywood characters. They wrote on their post, “As a fun, light lab experiment we wanted to test the power of the new Midjourney V5 by reimagining Bollywood actors as iconic Hollywood characters. Enjoy and Happy Friday!”
The first photo shows Shah Rukh as the action star John Rambo made popular by Sylvester Stallone. Coming after his turn as the Indian super spy Pathaan, this seems a natural fit for the actor who looks the part as he suits up as the army veteran who can take on any enemy.
Up next is Ajay Devgn as Maximus Decimus Meridius from Gladiator (2000). Russell Crowe immortalised the character in the Ridley Scott film, though the brooding Ajay fits the role of the Roman warrior in the AI version. The director is helming a sequel to the Oscar-winning film later this year.
Kunal becomes the Joker from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. Many actors have played the unhinged comic book character, though fans mostly remember Heath Ledger’s Oscar-winning take on the antagonistic character. With green hair and red smile painted on, Kunal’s version doesn’t look as menacing as previous versions of the character.
Actor Vir Das is imagined as Bilbo Baggins from JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit. The comedian actually fits the bill as the hobbit from the Shire. Martin Freeman played the young Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit series while Ian Holm played the older version in the The Lord of the Rings series.
Akshay Kumar’s turn as Indiana Jones from the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) looks nothing like the actor, but instead looks like British actor Benedict Cumberbatch giving his take on the swashbuckling archaeologist in the series directed by Steven Spielberg.
Finally, Anupam Kher is imagined as the wise and noble Yoda from Star Wars. In the sci-fi series directed by George Lucas, the all-knowing alien is voiced and puppeteered by Frank Oz. The actor’s match as Yoda is the most out of place of all the re-imaginings.
In the comments section of the post, fans felt Shah Rukh’s Rambo also looked like Twitter owner Elon Musk. Others gave suggestions of wanting to see the actors in other Hollywood roles from Tony Stark from the Avengers to Achilles from Troy.
