As the launch of the new iPhone series nears, a new report by Tom’s Guide suggests the discontinuation of certain iPhone models. Before we learn what those phones are, note the expected newcomers are iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra).

Apple currently officially sells the iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12, and iPhone SE (2022). If we look back at the strategy around the iPhone 14 series launch, the company scrapped the Pro models of its predecessor to induce higher sales for the new models.

Similarly, iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 mini were also removed from the line-up within 2 years once the new series was launched.

Going by this trend, iPhone 13 could be the best option under the mid-range category.
