Youtube Tv: YouTube TV is fixing audio-video sync, Apple TV crashes – Times of India

YouTube TV, the streaming television service operated by YouTube, has announced that it will roll out fixes over the next few weeks for a number of issues. These issues include 5.1 audio/video sync problems across Live playback, Apple TV crashes and more.
“We’re rolling out some fixes over the next few weeks to address A/V sync issues across Live playback. We continue to welcome feedback!” the company said in a Reddit post.
“Feel free to leave a picture of your Stats for Nerds and your device information on this thread if you’re still experiencing issues. We’re also actively working on a separate follow-on fix for VOD audio sync issues,” it added.

Apple TV crashing issue
YouTube TV also said that it also fixed the issue related to Apple TV 4K wherein the first-generation device suffered from crashing issues for a while now.
“We resolved an issue last month with 1st-gen 4K Apple TV devices crashing on long playbacks,” YouTube mentioned.
Library redesign
YouTube TV is also tweaking its Library redesign along with fixes to adjust several issues.
“We’ve heard your feedback about Library issues and are working on fixes to address the relevancy of Catch Up on your Favorites, incorrect Watch badging, and ordering of Recently Recorded entries,” it added.

NFL Sunday Ticket Unlimited Streams at Home
The Google-owned company is also updating the product functionality to grant users access to unlimited NFL Sunday Ticket streams at home and “two additional streams outside of your home for you and your household.”
YouTube TV also fixed problems with recordings on YouTube TV that were caused by a partial DVR outage.
“We had a few transient delays with DVR availability due to last month’s outage, but these are fully resolved,” it said.
In addition to fixing these issues, the post teases that YouTube TV will resume work on improved video quality and Multiview updates “next month”.
