As announced by CD Projekt Red in early September, a new expansion pack for CyberPunk 2077 called Phantom Liberty is in the works. The expansion pack/DLC will add new characters plus a new district to Night City for the players to explore. Now, in an interview given to GamesRadar+, Radek Grabowski, global PR director for CD Projekt Red, said that the upcoming DLC would be a paid one.
“As for the expansion’s pricing — we have not revealed exact details yet, but it will be a paid one,” Grabowski said in the interview. The exact price of the DLC remains under wraps but he also mentioned in the interview that the DLCs are going to be “traditionally cheaper than full-price games”. Hence, you may expect the price of Phantom LIberty to be under $60.
Phantom Liberty is a spy-thriller expansion and is set to arrive sometime in 2023 only on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Stadia which means that PS4 and Xbox One won’t get it.
Here is the official teaser of the DLC.
