Consumer electronics giant Samsung is all set to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones — Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 next week. The company has scheduled its next Galaxy Unpacked event for August 11 where it will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones. The customers who wish to purchase the smartphones can now pre-reserve them.
Samsung India is now allowing its customers to pre-reserve the upcoming premium Galaxy smartphones in the country. The customers who want to purchase the Galaxy Z Fold 3 or the Galaxy Z Flip 3 can preserve them by paying a token money of Rs 2,000. The interested customers can pre-reserve the smartphone on Samsung India’s eStore www.samsung.com or Samsung Shop App.
Customers making the pre-reservation will get the ‘Next Galaxy VIP Pass’ which entitles them to get a Smart tag worth Rs 2699 for free when they pre book the device. The company will also adjust the token amount of Rs 2,000 later when the customer will pre-book the device.
Along with the two foldable smartphones, Samsung will also launch its latest Galaxy Watch 4 series of smartwatches and a pair of true wireless earbuds at the event.
According to popular tipster Evan Blass, the price of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will start at €1899 (US$ 2,255 / Rs 1,67,620 approx.), while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to cost €1099 (US$ 1,305 / Rs 1,67,620 approx.).
