Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi globally launched its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi 13 lineup at the MWC 2023. Xiaomi 13 Pro debuted in India in February. The company recently launched the most expensive model in this lineup, Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China. The Ultra variant in the Xiaomi 13 series is rumoured to arrive in the global market in May. However, the company hasn’t confirmed any details about the smartphone’s India debut as well.
Xiaomi has now announced a summer sale wherein the company is offering discounts on some older smartphone models. The Xiaomi phones that have received a discount include Xiaomi 12 Pro and Redmi K50i. Both Xiaomi 12 Pro and Redmi K50i were launched in 2022.

Xiaomi launched the 12 Pro smartphone at a starting price of Rs 62,999. During this sale, the company is offering the phone at Rs 42,999. On the other hand, the company launched the base model of the Redmi K50i at Rs 23,999. Now, the smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs 19,499. These discounted prices will be offered on Amazon along with other online channels like mi.com Mi Home and Mi retail partners.
Xiaomi 12 Pro: Key details
This smartphone sports an AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Xiaomi claims that this is the first phone in India to house an all-50MP triple camera setup (50MP main sensor with OIS + 50MP ultra-wide lens + 50MP telephoto unit) and also supports Xiaomi’s 120W HyperCharge technology. The company claims that this tech can charge the phone in nearly 15 minutes. Xiaomi 12 Pro even features a 32MP selfie camera and has a Harmon-Kardon tuned dual speaker setup. The smartphone also supports 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The company markets this phone as a gaming-focused device that comes with a 144Hz 6.6-inch display and features a Dimensity 8100 mobile platform. Redmi K50i is 5G-enabled and is available in three colour options — Phantom Blue, Quick Silver and Stealth Black. The smartphone is IP53 certified and is equipped with an IR sensor and Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers. Redmi K50i has a 64MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie shooter. The smartphone supports 67W fast charging, while the company offers a 27W PD support charger inside the box.
