Xiaomi Smartphone Users Get Free YouTube Premium For 3 Months | Digit

Xiaomi and Google on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, announced a partnership. As a part of this partnership, Xiaomi is offering three months of free YouTube Premium to those who recently bought Xiaomi smartphones and tablets in India.

In order to be eligible for the free YouTube Premium trial, Xiaomi smartphone users need to have activated select Xiaomi phones or tablets after February 1, 2022. Any eligible Xiaomi device purchased after this date will be eligible to avail of the free YouTube Premium trial.

Xiaomi YouTube Premium Offer: Which Xiaomi smartphone users are eligible

Users who bought the following device models will be able to avail the YouTube premium free trial –

3-months extended trial:

– Xiaomi 12 Pro

– Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, Xiaomi 11T Pro

2-months extended trial:

– Xiaomi Pad 5, Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11T, Redmi Note 11 Pro+, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11S.

As you’ve noticed, these are some of Xiaomi’s latest devices, including their latest flagship, the Xiaomi 12 Pro which is retailing for ₹60,000 right now.

As mentioned by Xiaomi in a statement: “Eligible consumers can redeem this YouTube Premium offer on eligible Xiaomi and Redmi products starting June 6, 2022, which will be valid till January 31, 2023.”

If you happen to own any of the above Xiaomi phones, just head over to the YouTube app to redeem the three months of free YouTube Premium. With YouTube Premium, you get ad-free access to the YouTube streaming service and access to YouTube music, both of which will now allow you to play music with the screen turned off.

Once the trial period expires, Xiaomi smartphone users will be able to extend the service by paying the YouTube Premium price of ₹129 per month.
