Xiaomi launches Book S 12.4″, its first 2-in-1 convertible laptop: price, features, specifications

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ India launch date is still under wraps, but the company will host a Smarter Living 2022 event later this year where Xiaomi could announce the 2-in-1 laptop. Let’s take a look at what the Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ 2-in-1 laptop has in store for us.

Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ price, availability

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ 2-in-1 laptop is available to purchase in Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands, among other European regions. The device is priced at EUR 700 (around Rs 57,500). As a part of the introductory offer, the gear can be purchased at EUR 600 (around Rs 49,500). Xiaomi will also ship a 65W charger for EUR 40 (approximately Rs 3,300) for free for the first two days of the sale.

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ keyboard case is priced at EUR 149 (around Rs 12,300), but the first 250 buyers will get a EUR 50 (around Rs 4,100) discount. The Xiaomi SmartPen costs EUR 100 (approximately Rs 8,100), and the normal case is priced at EUR 40 (around Rs 3,300).

Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ comes with a 12.4-inch display whose LCD panel supports 2560×1600 pixel resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 500nits peak brightness. The device’s heart is a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 7nm chipset from the Snapdragon 865 generation paired with an Adreno 680 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB storage. Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.

Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ has a 5MP shooter on the front for selfies and video calls and a 13MP camera on the back. It has two microphones, dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The company claims up to 13.4 hours of battery life on a single charge on the Xiaomi Book S 12.4″.
