Xiaomi 13 Ultra confirmed to launch in April – Times of India

After introducing Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in international markets earlier this year, Xiaomi is now launching the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. In a tweet, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer confirmed that its latest flagship smartphone would launch this month in China.
Xiaomi is continuing its partnership with Leica with the launch of Xiaomi 13 Ultra, so we can expect the upcoming smartphone to feature Leica-tuned optics. The company says that the smartphone will mark “another milestone for the strategic cooperation”
Last year, when Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, it was limited to the domestic market. However, the company says the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch globally. We can expect the Xiaomi 13 Ultra to launch in the global markets, including India, in the coming months.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra: What to expect
Xiaomi 13 Ultra could feature a 6.7 inches E6 AMOLED LTPO panel from Samsung with QHD+ resolution and refresh rate of 120Hz. Further, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The smartphone may run Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box. The battery capacity is not known as of now, but the smartphone is rumoured to come with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature Leica-optimised optics, so expect to have two camera modes – Leica Authentic and Leica Vibrant. The smartphone could come with a quad 50MP camera setup, including a Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, an ultrawide camera, a telephoto, and a periscope telephoto unit.
Rumours are rife that Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro will launch in China on April 11 or April 18. However, it is not confirmed yet. We expect to learn more in the coming days.
