Xiaomi 13 Series launch rescheduled to December 11: Here’s all that you can expect – Smartprix
Xiaomi 13 series was expected to launch on December 1 in China earlier but it got canceled due to some internal reasons. The launch was then announced on December 8 but now the brand has rescheduled the date of the launch again. The final date for the announcement of the Xiaomi 13 Series in China is the 11th of December. Additionally, the brand will also launch Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi Buds 4, Mini Host, and more.
Xiaomi 13 Pro: Expected Specs
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is said to sport a 6.73-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits brightness. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
In terms of camera optics, the Xiaomi 13 Pro might be slightly different from its predecessor. It will reportedly have a 50MP primary sensor along with a 50M ultrawide and a 50MP telephoto lens at the back. The front will feature a 32MP selfie lens.
The smartphone is expected to pack a large 4820mAh battery with 120W fast charging support and run Android 13 OS out of the box. Xiaomi is yet to decide whether it will bundle the charger within the box or not.
Xiaomi 13: Expected Specs
The vanilla model will share some specs with the pro model. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset as well. The display is different as it is said to feature a 6.2-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, and HDR10+. It will have flat edges, unlike the pro model which will have curved edges.
The reports claim that this model will also have a triple camera setup at the back. It is said to come with a smaller 4700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
