Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12T Pro launch timeline, colours, RAM and storage options tipped

Unlike the Xiaomi 12S series, the Xiaomi 12T phones should debut globally, possibly even in India. This announcement will come ahead of the Xiaomi 13, which is expected to debut in November, a month ahead of the usual schedule.

According to the Pricebaba report, the Xiaomi 12T series will debut in September i.e later this month. However, an exact date isn’t revealed at the moment.

Xiaomi 13 series

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is said to be available in two storage configurations: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The Xiaomi 12T Pro will be available in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue colour options. 

On the other hand, the vanilla Xiaomi 12T will come in 8GB + 128GB model and 8GB + 256GB storage. It will also come in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue colour options.

Xiaomi 12T series specifications (expected)

The Xiaomi 12T Pro 5G is rumoured to be rebranded as the Redmi K50 Ultra but with a 200MP primary camera. The company is likely to use the same Samsung HP1 200MP sensor found in the Moto X30 Pro. This will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro unit.

The 12T 5G, on the other hand, is said to feature a 108MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera sensor. The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are said to pack a 5000mAh battery. While the 12T Pro 5G is said to support 120W fast charging,  the 12T 5G will come with 67W fast charging support.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, whereas the 12T 5G will feature a Dimensity 8100 Ultra chipset. However, both devices will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1,220 x 2,712 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro price (rumoured)

The Xiaomi 12T 5G is said to be priced at €600 – €620 (approx Rs 48,700 and Rs 50,400). On the other hand, the 12T Pro 5G is said to cost between €800 – €820 (around Rs 65,000 – Rs 66,700). We can speculate the India pricing will be cheaper.
