Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12T Pro launch date leaked: price, specifications

The forthcoming Xiaomi 12T series will include a vanilla Xiaomi 12T and a Xiaomi 12T Pro model. A recent leak gave us an early look at the Lunar Sliver colourway on both Xiaomi 12T series phones. Besides Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro, the event will see Xiaomi launch a Redmi Pad and Redmi TWS earbuds. Let’s look at the details.

As evident from the post, Xiaomi is planning an October 4th launch event for the Xiaomi 12T series, Redmi Pad, and Redmi TWS earbuds. Further, the teaser has a slogan: “Make moments mega,” and the event timing: 8 PM GMT+8 (5:30 PM IST).

As per a previous leak, Xiaomi 12T could retail at EUR 649 (Approx. Rs 51,800) and the Xiaomi 12T Pro at EUR 849 (Approx. Rs 67,800). Since it’s unofficial, we suggest you take it with a pinch of salt.

Xiaomi 12T series specifications

The Xiaomi 12T series has been the subject of many leaks, with every new tip spelling out details now and then. So far, we know the Xiaomi 12T Pro houses a 200MP camera setup at the back, while the vanilla unit has a 108MP camera setup. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powers the Xiaomi 12T Pro, and a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 runs the show on the Xiaomi 12T. Lastly, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support will keep the lights on both the Xiaomi 12T series smartphones.
