Indians are hooked to video games. According to a report by game-streaming platform Loco, the in-app purchases by Indian gamers have surpassed the OTT subscriptions, standing now at USD250 million.

As per data from Venture Intelligence, investments in the Indian video-gaming industry have seen a multi-fold increase since 2021. While the funding has slowed down, in 2023, three companies raised USD58 million.
