It is also important to note that the feature is already available on Android and iOS versions of the messaging app.
Those who want to try this feature on Windows will be required to install the version 2.2223.11.70 update from the Microsoft Store. Once the latest version is installed, the feature should be available for you. In case it isn’t showing up, do check that also has the latest version installed on your smartphone.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp has recently rolled out a couple of new privacy-oriented features to the final version of the app on both Android and iOS operating systems. This includes the ability to hide profile photos, and list seen and about information from select contacts.
With the new privacy feature rollout, users will see a new option to choose the contacts from which they want to see their private information under Settings.
Apart from that, WhatsApp has also expanded the group participants limit to 512 people and has started testing the ability to mute others during an ongoing group call.
