Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech welcomed their first child, a boy, on Tuesday. The couple took to social media to share the good news.

“To all our fans, family and friends, we are elated to share that God blessed us with a baby boy. We thank God for this blessing and wish you to respect our privacy as we welcome the little one into the world,” they wrote in identical messages posted on Twitter and Instagram.

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech got married in 2016.

Yuvraj Singh made his international debut in an ODI match against Kenya in October 2000, and went on to play 304 ODIs, 40 Tests, and 58 T20Is for India. He was part of India’s 2007 T20I World Cup-winning campaign and 2011 ODI World Cup-winning campaign.

He announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket on June 10, 2019, after serving Indian cricket for 19 long years.
