Ola Electric Cars - 3 New Cars Launch Planned?

Ola teases its first electric car

Ola Electric on June 19th conducted its first ‘Ola Customer Day’ held at Ola’s Futurefactory at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The Ola car that was teased showed us the first look of the car in a glance. A closer look would, however, reveal three different lighting designs both at the front and the rear that could hint at three different models. The vehicles could differ in terms of form as well as function.

The initial look of the Ola electric cars gives the appearance of a low-slung design with body panels that have smooth flowing lines. The front fascia is likely to carry a faux grille to keep the design palatable to the Indian taste buds that aren’t yet accustomed to a grille-free front design. At the back, the car seems to have a lengthened tail section that could aid aerodynamics and thus the range. The cars also appear to get distinctive LED signatures for the front and back lighting. The lighting could also highlight a connected lightbar as a design feature when launched.

Not much more is known about the vehicle or vehicles that Ola Electric intends to launch. More details are likely to follow on August 15th according to the company.
