Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has introduced a new long-term prepaid plan for its customers. TelecomTalk has reported that the new prepaid plan is priced at Rs 549 and it isn’t the regular unlimited benefit plan that we usually see from telecom service providers. The new Rs 549 prepaid plan is mainly aimed at offering more validity than other benefits like data, calling, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about the new prepaid plan from Vodafone Idea.
Vodafone Idea Rs 549 prepaid plan: Details
Vodafone Idea’s new prepaid plan, as mentioned, is aimed at offering long-term validity to its customers. The plan comes with 180 days of validity and that’s the most important aspect of the plan that one should know about.
Other benefits of the plan include 1GB of total data and Rs 549 talk time. In fact, with the plan, customers will have to pay 2.5 paise/second for both local as well as STD calls. There are no free calling minutes offered here with the plan.
Also, the plan does not include any SMS benefits as well. So, users will also have to pay for each SMS sent.
The plan is now live within the Validity section of the website and users from across the country can now recharge their Vi number with the plan to avail of the benefits.
Vodafone Idea appears to be taking action to retain more customers and to prevent them from porting out to other telecom service providers by providing them with a relatively affordable prepaid plan that offers long-term validity.
In addition to the new Rs 549 prepaid plan, Vi offers several other prepaid plans that offer extended validity to customers. This includes the Rs 279 plan that offers 90 days validity, Rs 111 plan with 1-month validity and more.
