Vodafone Idea Smartphone Program

  • The company aims to push feature phone users towards smartphones with the new Smartphone Program.
  • According to the Vodafone Idea official website, the Vi Smartphone Program is available for existing users who upgrade to 4G or 5G.
  • However, it should be noted that Vi has not yet rolled out the 5G connectivity and is apparently in talks with network vendors to finalise the rollout.
  • It appears that the talks are in the final stages and hence the telecom network wants to upgrade users with the program.

  • The offer is valid from July 4th to September 30th in Punjab, Haryana, Chennai and the rest of Tamil Nadu.

Customers who are eligible for the offer will get a welcome SMS with the Rs 2,400 recharge discount details after a day of inserting the Vi SIM in their phone.
