Vivo X80 specifications tipped ahead of launch: MediaTek Dimensity 9000, 6.78-inch OLED display, and more
Vivo X80 specifications (expectations)
According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X80 is said to sport a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with an FHD+ pixels resolution, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a 120Hz refresh rate, and DC-Dimming. We can speculate it will come with HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. An earlier report said the phone will come with a 6.5-inch screen.
The phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The Vivo X80 will come equipped with X-axis linear motor to provide vivid tactile feedback and a 4,000mm square VC chamber for heat dissipation.
An earlier report said the Vivo X80 Pro will be powered by the same chipset and have a similar size display. However, the Vivo X80 Pro+ may have a slightly larger screen. An earlier report claimed the phone would pack up to 12GB LPDDR4 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Moving to cameras, the Vivo X80 is said to come with a triple camera layout, comprising a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, a 13MP secondary camera, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 shooter. It is said to get a 44MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
The leaked Vivo X80 specifications are largely similar to the Vivo X80 Pro’s spec sheet. The key differences between the two phones will only be revealed when they’re launched officially. There are chances the Vivo X80 series might debut on the same day as X Fold and Pad.
