Vivo X70 series launch date in India has been officially revealed by the company. The flagships were originally launched in China earlier this month. The Vivo X70 series will now make its way to India on September 30th at 12 PM IST, probably through an online-only event. However, the invite doesn’t specify whether the company will be launching all the models or just select models in the series. Considering the brand had launched all three models of the X60 series earlier this year, we can expect the same to be repeated this time as well. The Vivo X70 series ship with a 120Hz AMOLED display, up to 55W fast-charging support, and Android 11 OS out of the box. Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro specifications

Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro ship with the same 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate display, punch-hole cutout, and flat edges. The standard X70 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, while the Pro model comes with the Exynos 1080 SoC. The phones pack up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. They run on Android 11-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box and connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

The standard Vivo X70 packs a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support, while the X70 Pro model comes with a 4,450mAh battery with the same 44W charging speed. The Vivo X70 has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 40MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 12MP portrait sensor. While the X70 Pro model comes with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP depth sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage that is further expandable. The phone boots Android 11 based OriginOS custom skin out of the box and packs a 4500mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
