According to the leaked promotional material, the Vivo X Fold2 is expected to sport an 8.03-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with 2160 X 1916 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800nits brightness. The secondary screen is a 6.53-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600nits brightness. Interestingly, the leak suggests the outer and inner screens will be equipped with an ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
The poster shows the Vivo X Fold2 would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, which will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The new foldable is tipped to feature a Vivo V2 ISP chip that is claimed to offer better imaging and support Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The Vivo X Fold2 is tipped to pack a 4800mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. That’s pretty much everything that is revealed via the promotional poster images.
As per the previous leak, the Vivo X Fold2 would feature a triple-camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX866 50MP Primary lens and 2x Sony IMX663 12MP lens. There are rumours that said the new Vivo X Fold2 would weigh around 270 grams. We should learn more details about the X Fold2 soon.
