The Vivo X Fold+ has been launched at a price of CNY 9,999 onwards (roughly Rs 1,13,600) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Further, the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant of the Vivo X Fold+ is priced at CNY 10,999 (roughly Rs 1,25,000). This is at least CNY 1,000 (roughly Rs 11,300) more than the Vivo X Fold that was launched earlier this year.

The Vivo X Fold+ is available for pre-orders in China starting today and will go on sale starting September 29th. The smartphone is currently only available in China and it is not known if Vivo will bring it to other markets. The smartphone has been launched in three colour options – Clear mountain blue, Sycamore Ash, and Huaxia Red – all of them come with a faux leather finish on the back panel.

The Vivo X Fold+ foldable smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch outer display that includes an ultrasonic under display fingerprint sensor. On the inside, there is an 8-inch foldable display with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) with LTPO technology that facilitates a variable refresh rate of 1Hz – 120Hz. The Vivo X Fold+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

The Vivo X Fold+ comes with a Zeiss-branded quad rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary shooter, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel periscope lens. Up front, the Vivo X Fold+ comes with a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.

There is a 4,730mAh battery on the latest Vivo foldable, and the smartphone supports up to 80W fast charging, as against the 66W charging speed on the Vivo X Fold. The Vivo X Fold+ is claimed to charge the smartphone to full in just 35 minutes.
