Vivo X Fold 2 chipset, RAM revealed on Geekbench ahead of April 20th launch
A Vivo device with the model number V2266A was spotted on Geekbench which is said to be the Vivo X Fold 2, according to a report by MySmartPrice. The Geekbench listing shows that the Vivo X Fold 2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, confirming past rumours. It also shows that the foldable phone will run Android 13 out-of-the-box with up to 12GB RAM. This will possibly have a custom OS layered on top. The Vivo X Fold 2 has a single-core score of 1809 and multi-core score of 5050 on Geekbench.
Vivo X Fold 2 specifications
Specifications of the Vivo X Fold 2 have already been leaked so we have a good idea on what the foldable has to offer. It is expected to feature an 8-inch E6 AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. The outer display could be a 6.53-inch E6 AMOLED screen. Leaks also suggest a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor and two 12MP sensors.
Along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the foldable is also expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Vivo X Fold 2 could also pack a 4,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. In terms of design, the Vivo X Fold 2 will feature a book-like design, and it will also be the premium offering among the two.
Vivo X Flip, Vivo Pad 2
As the name suggests, the Vivo X Flip will feature a clamshell design much like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and OPPO Find N2 Flip. It is rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ main display with a 120Hz refresh rate while the smaller outer display will have an HD resolution.
The Vivo Pad 2 will be the company’s upcoming tablet and it’s expected to feature a 12.1-inch LCD 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could house a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there would be an 8MP camera. The tablet is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. It is also expected to pack a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
