Vivo today launched its Vivo V25 mid-range Android smartphone, a couple of weeks after the launch of the Vivo V25 Pro in the country. The Vivo V25 has been launched with a flat-edged design, a colour-changing back panel, and a MediaTek Dimensity processor. The smartphone, launched at a price of Rs 27,999 onwards in India, goes into direct competition with the likes of the iQOO Neo 6 and the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G. The Vivo V25 5G has been launched at a price of Rs 27,999 onwards for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Vivo V25 is priced at Rs 31,999 in the country. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart starting September 20, and will also be available for purchase on Vivo’s online store and offline retailers. As a launch offer, early buyers of the Vivo V25 will also get a Rs 2,500 discount on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI credit and debit cards.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G on the other hand, is priced at Rs 28,999 onwards in India for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is priced at Rs 33,999 in India. As per offers, buyers of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G are getting a Rs 1,500 instant discount on Axis Bank credit and debit cards, and the smartphone is expected to see more discounts during the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival sale.

Design

In terms of design, the Vivo V25 5G has a flat-edged design, as compared to the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G’s curved back panel. The Vivo V25 5G further comes with a waterdrop-style notch, while the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G comes with a hole-punch setting. Apart from that, the Vivo V25 also comes with a trick up its sleeve. The smartphone, like its elder sibling, has a colour-changing design that changes the smartphone’s colour when exposed to sunlight or UV rays, a design feature that the OnePlus Nord 2T lacks.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, on the other hand, comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While Vivo has not specified which panel they are using, the OnePlus Nord 2T uses a Samsung E3 AMOLED panel.
