Vive Focus: HTC launches Vive Focus 3 with improved performance, 5K dual display at Rs 1,44,990 – Times of India
The new headset from the company brings 5K resolution support and a 120-degree field of view as standard along with ergonomic design, improved audio and navigation controllers.

HTC Vive Focus 3, according to the company, is aimed at both businesses and consumers. The headset is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR3 platform which claims to offer twice the CPU and GPU performance and around 11 times better AI processing power compared to the original Vivo Focus.
In terms of features, the Vive Focus 3 has 5K resolution with dual 2.5K displays, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and an ultra-wide 120-degree field of view. The display panel uses real RGB subpixels for a better and more natural viewing experience.
Vive Focus 3 also comes with improved design and according to the company, the changes have been made to make the headset more ergonomic and comfortable with the new strap design, balanced weight distribution and a new swappable curved battery pack. The headset is made from a magnesium alloy frame which is 20% lighter and 500% stronger than traditional plastics.
The headset supports fast charging and the company claims that it offers 50% battery in 30 minutes of charge. ocus 3 has a wide range and fine-adjustable Inter Pupillary Distance range, as well as a quick-release button and easily removable magnetic front and rear face gaskets
Vive Focus 3 features new open-back speakers with dual drivers for better audio quality and according to the company, it also allows users to maintain spatial awareness while using the headset.
Focus 3 uses an AI-powered inside-out tracking algorithm for precise tracking. HTC has also highlighted the privacy concerns with the headset. The company says that all the tracking data is stored in an encrypted format on the headset.
Vive Focus 3 also comes with new controllers with 15 hours of battery life and a better grip. Also, the controllers are expected to get hand-tracking support in future.
