Virgin Media offers you £342 off broadband with these epic Black Friday discounts

If your monthly Virgin Media broadband and TV bill is making you wince then now could be the best time ever to cut the cost. The telecoms firm recently revealed its big Black Friday offers and there are some huge savings to be made with some prices slashed by as much as £342.

For those wanting just broadband, there are a number of options including Virgin’s M100 (108Mbps download speeds) service for just £25 per month, M200 (208Mbps) for £31 or much faster M500 (508Mbps speeds) broadband for just £43 per month.

As a quick guide, a full HD movie will take around 10 minutes to download via Virgin’s M100 option with those getting the more premium M500 speeds able to whizz the same film to their TVs in around two minutes.

All of Virgin’s Media’s broadband deals feature full access to the latest fibre technology and you get unlimited downloads plus a WiFi Hub router.

There is a £35 setup fee to pay but other than that these are very good savings that beat most of its rivals. As an example, Sky is offering slower 59Mbps speeds in its sale for £25 per month.

If you want more than just access to the internet then Virgin also has some tempting deals on its bundles.

As part of the official Black Friday event, there’s an offer on the Big bundle which features over 100 channels along with 108Mbps broadband and free weekend calls. This usually costs £32 per month but Virgin has slashed that price to just £29 per month.

If you want even more bang for your buck then there’s also the Big Volt bundle which is now just £41 per month. This package includes all of those TV channels and free weekends calls but also adds better 208Mbps broadband speeds and an O2 SIM with 10GB of monthly data.

Finally, there’s a price cut for anyone wanting the Ultimate Volt bundle. This premium service usually costs £99 per month but Black Friday is chopping this down to £89.

For that price, you get 230+ channels, incl. BT Sport, Sky Sports & Sky Cinema in HD, lightning-fast fibre with avg. 630Mbps, anytime calls and unlimited O2 SIM.

For our money, the best deal available is Virgin Media’s M200 plan, which has dropped from £50 a month down to £31 a month. That discounted price will be valid for the entirety of your 18-month contract – saving you more than £340 compared to the pre-Black Friday prices. M200 offers average download speeds of around 213Mbps, which is roughly 3x faster than the average UK home broadband speed, which sits at 70Mbps.
