Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is the latest major Bollywood movie to come to theatres next month, on June 2nd. And in an interesting series of events, the OTT streaming partner for the movie has been confirmed weeks before its theatrical release. This comes as part of a hint revealed within the trailer of the film, which was released on May 15th.

The upcoming movie stars Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, while names like Inaamulhaq and Meghna Agarwal adorn the supporting cast. The movie has been directed by Laxman Utekar, who is known for working on movies like Mimi, Dear Zindagi, and Hindi Medium.

The trailer for Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is out on YouTube, and the end credits reveal that JioCinema is indeed the official OTT streaming platform for the movie’s digital release, which is expected to come about two months after its June 2nd premiere in theatres worldwide. In fact, the movie has been produced by Jio Studios, which also confirms that the movie will premiere online only on JioCinema.

While JioCinema recently unveiled its first paid premium plan, priced at Rs 999 payable annually, the movie is likely to be available free of cost much like other Bollywood movies on the platform. Just recently, blockbuster film Vikram Vedha had premiered exclusively on Jio Cinema.

Talking about Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, this is an upcoming family comedy drama film that tells the story of a newly married couple who make use of the government’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to finally be able to afford a house away from that of their families.
