Vi 5G India rollout: Vodafone 5G to roll out in India over the next few years

To recall, 5G services in India were launched by Narendra Modi on October 1st at the India Mobile Congress. Moondra said that Vi had laid out 5G plans and has developed a diverse range of India-specific use cases for enterprises and consumers through partnerships and ecosystem players.

“With the progressive roll-out of Vi 5G network and services over the next few years, I am confident that our 5G solutions will bring a better tomorrow that will transform the customer experience, enhance business performance, and positively impact people, driving digital economy growth in the country,” said CEO Akshaya Moondra in a statement.

Vodafone Idea says that it has developed a range of India-specific use cases for enterprises and consumers.”Vi is ready for the next journey of growth with 5G technology, where a connected world with limitless digital solutions will soon be the new norm. Additionally, to drive the 5G ecosystem development, Vi has teamed up with smartphone brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, and Realme. The telco is engaging with other large brands to have Vi 5G provisioned for its users in time for market roll-out. The company is also showcasing industrial use cases like connected healthcare in partnership with L&T Smart World.
