Moreover, a spokesperson for Twitter has also confirmed that Co-Tweets is going live and said, “We’re continuing to explore new ways for people to collaborate on Twitter. We’re testing CoTweets for a limited time to learn how people and brands may use this feature to grow and reach new audiences, and strengthen their collaborations with other accounts.”
How will the CoTweets feature work?
As per the report, the Co-Tweets feature will allow one user to upload a tweet and then invite another user to the tweet and can tag them as a co-author. However, currently, the second author needs to approve the tweet before it becomes co-authored and for now, it seems like the replies will be going to the main author of the tweet, the report suggests.
The report also claims that this new feature might be eventually released more widely once Twitter users start using the feature and if it becomes popular and successful. The company has also tweeted a new video describing the feature.

Other features Twitter added recently
Twitter has gradually improved the platform’s service by adding new features over the past year, the report states. The company recently introduced the Notes feature which can expand tweets into longer format pieces. To make things more personal, Twitter also added new ways to monitor how tweets get uploaded. Apart from that, after years of requests, Twitter has finally decided to add an edit button to the service and the company is working on the same but hasn’t announced what else will officially go live on the platform, the report claims.
