Twinkle Khanna revisits time when she said ‘my whole life is a joke’, thanks Karan Johar: ‘Some things don’t change’

Actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna took walk down memory lane with a vintage video clip from her 20s. Taking to her Instagram handle, she posted the same and talked about how a few things will never change for her. She also praised her hairstyle in the video, which was quite popular in the 90s. In the video, Twinkle said, “I’m not a very serious person. I am actually…always clumsy and bumbling around. I think my whole life is a joke, so I like doing comedy (films).” When asked to elaborate about her life being a joke, she laughed and added, “I think a lot of funny things happen to me or at least I look at them as very funny. So I prefer portraying that side of me. I’m not a very serious person. I also look like a very delicate girl but I am not.”

Sharing the video from Lehren which was found by her friend Karan Johar, Twinkle wrote in the caption of the post, “Some things don’t change. This was in my twenties and close to fifty, I am still not a very serious person and am tougher than I look. Also have to love the hairstyle Like me had you also figured out you what you were really like in your twenties? Thank you @karanjohar for digging this up and making my morning.”

Meanwhile, the old video of Twinkle has left fans nostalgic as she doesn’t appear in films anymore. One of them commented, “I really admire you. You are a true beauty with brains. Although belongings to a hardcore filmi background you are way different and sophisticated then your colleagues. I wish you the best for your future success.” “You are a superstar! Like you, very few actually find out their passion and interest early on in life,” added another one.

Someone also said, “This is an interview you did for joru ka Ghulam right? One of my favourites, how you were so savage there. Love your boxing scene.”

Twinkle Khanna is the daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. She made her acting debut with Barsaat in 1995 and appeared in several hit films before quitting it all in 2001.

In the same year, she tied the knot with actor Akshay Kumar. They are now parents to a son – Aarav and a daughter named Nitara. Twinkle is currently pursuing a master’s degree from London and was last seen in the film Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega.
