The evaluation period for TOISA 2021 was from January 1 to December 31, 2021. All achievements during this time period were considered by the jury.

Abhishek Verma fetched India’s first medal in the World Cup Stage III in Paris by winning the gold in men’s compound individual event in June in Paris.
This was Verma’s second individual World Cup gold medal. Verma had got past Russia’s Antony Bulaev 146-138 in the semis to enter his first World Cup final since Salt Lake City 2018 where he had picked a silver.
Teaming up with Vennam Jyothi Surekha, Verma bagged a mixed team silver in the World Championships in Yankton, USA in September.
Verma was one of the nominees in the Male Archer of the Year category for TOISA 2021.
