Thunivu OTT release date announced: where to watch Thunivu full movie online

Thunivu is a South Indian Tamil-language action heist film that was released in theatres on January 11th and now the Thunivu OTT release date is here. Netflix India South took to Twitter to disclose information about the Ajith Kumar starrer’s release on Netflix on February 8th, 2023. The tweet also mentioned the five languages in which the movie will stream.

Thunivu was initially announced with the title AK61 signifying Ajith’s 61st film in a leading role in February 2022; however, then the official title was announced in September 2022. The movie is termed as 2023’s first blockbuster from the Kollywood industry, although it has received mixed reviews from critics.

Where to watch Thunivu on OTT?

As per the tweet by Netflix South India, Thunivu will start streaming on the OTT platform Netflix from February 8th, 2023, four weeks later its theatrical release. The movie will be streamed in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. The tweet also mentioned two hashtags, ThunivuOnNetflix and NoGutsNoGlory, along with the line we cannot stay CHILLA CHILLA! Basically, Chilla Chilla is the first single of the movie and was released on December 9th, 2022.

The H. Vinoth-directed Thunivu stars Ajith Kumar as Dark Devil in the lead role and others in supporting roles including Manjur Warrier as Kanmani, Samuthirakani as Dayalan, John Kokken as Krish, Ajay Kumar as ACP Ramachandran and Veera as Radha. The movie is produced by Boney Kapoor and has received a 6.8 out of 10 IMDB rating.

The music of the film has been composed by Ghibran and as a composer, Thunivu is his 50th film. Moreover, it is Ghibran’s second collaboration with both, actor Ajith Kumar and producer Boney Kapoor after their 2022 film, Valimai.
